The Opportunity

The Global IT Procurement Manager is responsible for designing, executing and implementing IT procurement strategies, focusing on delivering cost savings, ensuring compliance, and supporting ESG and digital transformation initiatives. This role oversees supplier management, contract negotiations, risk mitigation, and ensures compliance with internal policies. The Global IT Procurement Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive value and innovation.

Your Impact

Procurement Execution
  • Develop and implement IT procurement strategies in alignment with company & team objectives, using category management as a methodology.
  • Lead sourcing events (RFx), negotiations, and contract execution for assigned categories.
  • Monitor market trends, risks and emerging opportunities to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, compliance standards, and risk management protocols.

Supplier Relationship Management
  • Manage day-to-day supplier interactions and performance monitoring.
  • Support supplier development initiatives to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate strategic concerns to leadership as needed.

ESG & Compliance
  • Apply sustainability and ethical sourcing principles in supplier selection and management.
  • Track and report ESG compliance for assigned suppliers and categories.

Digital Tools & Process Optimization
  • Utilize digital platforms and procurement analytics tools to execute sourcing activities efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within sourcing operations.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with internal clients to understand requirements and ensure procurement solutions meet functional needs.
  • Provide regular updates on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings progress.

Financial & Operational Accountability
  • Support budget planning and cost tracking for assigned categories.
  • Deliver on cost reduction targets and contribute to overall procurement KPIs.

The skills that set you apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management , Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT procurement, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of category management, sourcing processes, contract management and supplier negotiations.
  • Category Management: Ability to use category management tools to drive value from spend.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze supplier data and market trends to inform decisions.
  • Negotiation: Skilled in securing favorable terms and managing supplier agreements.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: 104 100$ - 138 000$

MB & ON: 95 000$ - 130 800$

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: 94 100$ - 124 900$
