As a Global Procurement Specialist supporting Corporate Services, you will help power procurement excellence across WSP by driving sourcing events, strengthening supplier relationships, and advancing ESG-aligned procurement practices. Your work will create meaningful impact by supporting operational efficiency, enhancing supplier performance, and elevating enterprise-wide procurement standards across Canada.
Your Impact
  • Prepare and conduct sourcing events (RFx) and analyze supplier proposals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on defined criteria.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with potential and existing suppliers.
  • Support contract development and ensure proper documentation in procurement systems.
  • Maintain accurate supplier records and performance metrics.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual terms and escalate issues when needed.
  • Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure sourcing activities adhere to organizational policies, ESG standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and report ESG compliance for assigned suppliers.
  • Utilize digital platforms and procurement systems to manage sourcing activities.
  • Support data entry, reporting, and analytics for sourcing performance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and provide procurement updates.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports.
  • Analyze spend data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare cost analyses and provide savings tracking for assigned categories.
The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
  • Familiarity with sourcing processes, supplier management, and contract administration.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret supplier data and market trends.
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and compliance capability.
  • Effective collaboration skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with e-sourcing platforms and procurement systems.
  • Understanding of ESG, sustainability, and ethical sourcing principles.
  • Preferred: experience in category management, procurement analytics, global sourcing practices, and risk management.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:
$104,100 - $138,000

MB & ON:
$95,000 - $130,800

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:
$94,100 - $124,900
