The Opportunity
Shape the future of health, safety, and environment in Québec. As an HSE Advisor (CoSS), you'll play a critical role in supporting major projects across Energy, Resources & Industry (ERI) and Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I). From proposals to execution, your expertise will help create safer workplaces and sustainable solutions.
Your Impact
- Influence strategic direction: Embed SSE objectives into project planning and execution to align with WSP's vision and mission.
- Drive operational excellence: Develop and implement prevention programs and emergency plans that reduce risk and enhance performance across Québec.
- Strengthen safety culture: Act as a strategic partner to project teams and clients, promoting a proactive and sustainable approach to health and safety.
- Anticipate trends and innovate: Monitor emerging SSE issues and propose innovative solutions to address complex challenges in ERI and T&I projects
- Create client value: Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and influence decisions that ensure compliance, performance, and reputation.
- Optimize risk management: Lead strategic audits and root cause analyses to prevent incidents and improve resilience across projects.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Certified CoSS (Coordonnateur en santé et sécurité - CNESST) - mandatory.
- 10+ years of experience in construction site safety, including large-scale projects (Hydro-Québec, MTQ).
- Strong knowledge of Québec health and safety laws and best practices in energy and transport sectors.
- Ability to manage multiple phases of projects, from proposals to execution.
- Bilingual (French and English) and proficient with technical writing for HSE documentation.
- Open to varying travel durations across Québec, short, medium, and long term, while remaining adaptable to changing project needs

Compensation:
- BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $104,100 - $138,000
- MB & ON: $95,000 - $130,800
- Atlantic Provinces & Québec: $94,100 - $124,900
