Job Description
We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We're builders touching over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to help shape what's next. The work is challenging - but it matters. You'll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize your wellbeing, and truly belong. What's in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Cart and Checkout are at the core of SAP Commerce Cloud, directly shaping conversion, customer trust, and revenue at scale. This domain brings together pricing, promotions, payments, taxes, fulfillment, and order orchestration into a seamless, highly performant user experience that reflects each customer's brand and business model. Increasingly, it is also a key surface for intelligence - leveraging data and AI to optimize purchase flows, personalize experiences, and continuously improve outcomes. Sitting at the intersection of merchandising and order management, Cart and Checkout must meet demanding requirements for extensibility, reliability, and throughput, supporting high-volume B2C scenarios as well as complex B2B purchasing flows across global enterprises.
As a Senior Product Manager within the Customer Experience team, you will own the end-to-end success of the Cart and Checkout capabilities - from strategy and product definition through delivery, adoption, and measurable customer impact, including the evolution of intelligent and data-driven capabilities that enable more personalized, optimized, and adaptive commerce experiences.
We expect our Product Managers to be the clear owners and advocates of their product areas. They combine deep customer empathy with strong product judgment and leadership, and maintain a sharp focus on outcomes. This means taking accountability not only for what is delivered, but for how successfully it is adopted and used in real customer scenarios. The role requires versatility, comfort with complexity, and the drive to continuously push the product forward in a fast-moving environment.
