The Opportunity

Reporting to the Procurement Manager - Americas Hub, the incumbent will support day-to-day procurement activities in accordance with established processes, policies, and category strategies.

The role involves performing operational procurement activities related to the sourcing of indirect goods and services, including supporting data analysis activities, participating in requests for proposals (RFPs), collecting and reviewing supplier information, supporting category strategies and annual plans, and maintaining up-to-date procurement documentation. The position works closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers under the guidance of the Category Manager.

Your Impact
  • Act as a point of contact for routine procurement requests from internal stakeholders within the assigned scope of responsibility.
  • Support internal stakeholders by gathering requirements and information related to procurement requests.
  • Contribute to the preparation of statements of work and procurement documentation.
  • Collect, analyze, and consolidate spend and supplier data for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Support the procurement team in monitoring supplier performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist with supplier relationship management, flag issues as needed, and support data collection and document preparation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.

  • The skills that set you apart
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement.
    • Experience in a corporate environment.
    • Basic understanding of procurement principles.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills in both French and English (Spanish is an asset).
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Comfortable using digital tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Smartsheet.
    • Strong proficiency in the MS Office suite (especially MS Excel) and Copilot 365.

    Compensation

    AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 to $88,400
    MB & ON: $60,900 to $83,800
    NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $60,300 to $80,000
