Your role contributes significantly to KPMG delivering its business performance and also plays a key role in helping individuals at KPMG fulfil their career ambitions. Your role will contribute significantly to streamline and enhance our resource planning across multiple offices.

The Resource Planner has overall responsibility for client and non-client facing professionals within their service area, which includes the assignment of resources at all levels using our scheduling systems. The objective is to align individual career development and preferences with client assignment needs as well as the financial objectives of the business.

This role will support our Assurance practice, and your contribution will make a significant impact on the business.

What you will do
The candidate chosen for this position will be responsible for:
  • Managing our resource planning process and tools, including analyzing the optimization of resources, and scheduling and controlling the bookings for our assurance offices in Quebec;
  • Liaising with the management team to coordinate bookings;
  • Optimizing our resource management process, including playing a role in developing a new and innovative resource planning tool;
  • Working closely the with our Group Leaders and Business Managers to coordinate sharing of resources between offices, and to help them analyze their business needs;
  • updating the system when there are new hires;
  • following-up with People Leaders when there are new hires in order to assign a Performance Manager and a Coach;
  • maintain the employee list within the assurance practice including all levels;
  • keeping track of assurance employees' vacation days and sick leaves;
  • keeping track of study leaves for employees completing their CPA, i.e. coordinating their leave and their return to work.
  • working closely and in collaboration with the other Resource Planners.
  • The role may require supporting audit partners with administrative tasks.

  • Ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Retain Scheduling System knowledge is an asset .
