As a Proposal Specialist with WSP's Strategic Pursuits & Proposals team for Earth & Environment in Québec, you will play a key role in developing compelling, client-focused proposals for strategic pursuits across the province and nationally (as required). You will work closely with technical teams, project managers, business development leaders, and leadership to help position WSP for success on complex, multidisciplinary opportunities.

This role is ideal for an experienced proposal professional who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment, can bring structure and strategic thinking to proposal development, and can support teams in producing clear, compliant, and convincing submissions depending on client and pursuit requirements. Your work will directly influence how communities grow, how sustainability goals are achieved, and how WSP continues to lead in the AEC market.

Your Impact
  • Analyze RFPs and pursuit opportunities to develop compelling proposal strategies that align with client priorities and position WSP for success.
  • Lead, coordinate, write, and edit proposals from kick - off through final submission, ensuring clarity, quality, and compliance with WSP brand standards, internal proposal processes, and client requirements.
  • Support Québec and national pursuits (as required), including collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across regions.
  • Manage proposal schedules, milestones and deliverables, facilitating collaboration across technical, operational, and leadership teams to meet tight deadlines.
  • Drive input from technical teams by facilitating meetings, clarifying content needs, tracking outstanding inputs, and helping turn technical information into strong, client-focused proposal narratives.
  • Adapt proposal content including CVs, project descriptions, and boilerplate to create tailored, client - focused submissions.
  • Support interview preparation, including presentation development, storyboarding, and rehearsal coordination.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, participating in pursuit debriefs, sharing lessons learned, and helping refine and strengthen tools, templates, and best practices across the proposal team.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and engaging work environment, even during peak workload periods.

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a proposal coordination, specialist, or lead role within the AEC or professional services environment.
  • Proven experience supporting strategic pursuits and complex proposals, with exposure to multi - disciplinary teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French. A professional knowledge of English is beneficial to collaborate with national teams and stakeholders, and additional proficiency in English is considered an asset.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Acrobat); familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal pursuits is considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast - paced, deadline - driven environment, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
  • Knowledge of APMP, Shipley, or similar proposal development frameworks and best practices within the AEC or professional services environment is considered an asset.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 - $107,000
MB & ON: $73,700 - $101,500
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $73,000 - $96,900,
