What you'll bring to WSP:
Compensation:
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $147,500 - $195,400
MB & ON: $134,600 - $184,600
Atlantic Provinces & QC: $133,200 - $176,900

What you can expect to do here:
Strategic Business Partnership
- Serve as advisor to functional leaders, aligning financial insights with strategic objectives
- Lead the financial planning, analysis and performance monitoring of a global function, identifying areas of improvement and suggesting corrective actions as needed
- Contribute as financial analyst on key initiatives impacting global functions, such as new investment business case, M&A synergy tracking, and major commercial decisions (e.g. outsourcing)
Operating Model Evolution and Process Excellence
- Drive the financial planning and performance management for new globally managed functions, operationalizing the financial framework and chargeback mechanisms that align with the new global operating model
- Support the establishment of achievable financial targets, including providing data-driven insight to functional leaders to deliver economies of scale
Performance Management
- Perform deep-dive analysis to optimize cost structures and measure the realization of expected benefits
- Support the analysis of large service provider contracts to ensure competitiveness and value for money
- Contribute to annual benchmarking exercises to identify risks and opportunities and provide insight to help functional leaders meet financial objectives.
Reporting & Governance
- Support the development of executive presentations with business-specific financial narratives.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for corporate functions
Leadership and Culture
- Collaborate with other finance leaders to ensure cohesive enterprise financial reporting and drive enterprise-wide change management and stakeholder engagement to maximize adoption and value realization.
What you'll bring to WSP:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in finance roles, with ideally 3 years in finance business partner capacity.
- Good understanding of P&L management, business case development, and ROI analysis.
- Strong communication skills; ability to synthesize complex data into clear business narratives.
- Experience working in multi-functional team environment and working with senior management
- Experience in Engineering or Professional services industry is a plus
- Familiarity with enterprise performance management (EPM) and accounting systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, etc).
- Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
