In tax accounting services at PwC, you will assist businesses in preparing and reviewing tax provisions, tax returns, and financial statements, confirming compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

A s a Financial Reporting and Tax Complianc e, Senior Manager in our Core Reporting group , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities level include but are not limited to:
• Support team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary
• Arrange and sponsor appropriate assignments and experiences to help people realize their potential and support their long-term aspirations
• Identify gaps in the market and spot opportunities to create value propositions
• Look for opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments
• Create an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart
• Promote and encourage others to value differences when working in diverse teams
• Drive and take ownership for developing connections that help deliver what is best for our people and stakeholders
• Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm

Experience and skills you'll use to solve
• Completion of Levels I, II and III of the CPA In-depth Tax Course would be an asset but not necessary
• Experience in a public accountant firm
• Canadian CPA designation
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Entities (ASPE), CSRS 4200 Compilation engagements, CSRE 2400 Review engagements, Canadian Audit Standards
• Strong communication , and facilitator skills with demonstrated ability to work with multiple personalitie s
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, listening and coaching skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner
• Strong analytical capability, sound business sense and creative mind that have earned you a reputation of providing excellence in client service
• The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada

The salary range for this position is $97,800 - $147,800 . The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres . Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements . We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
