Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Corporate Finance Associate (Bilingual FR/EN), you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Play an essential role as part of a team working on a particular transaction (sale, merger and acquisition (M&A) and/or financing) or business development efforts (pitches)
• Conduct thorough research on companies and industries, supporting the team in the preparation and presentation of marketing pitches to existing and potential clients
• Assisting in the preparation of internal and external marketing materials (teaser, confidential information memorandum (CIM), management presentation, etc.)
• Obtain needed information from available client data and conduct appropriate financial analysis
• Prepare financial models to support analysis in proposals and transaction documentation, identifying key strategic & financial buyers and managing the transaction's status reports and more
• Transaction work frequently involves working with colleagues from other areas of Deals Services and other lines of services. Work extended hours on an as needed basis
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
• Completion or progression toward a finance or accounting designation (CPA, CBV, CFA, MSc or MBA) would be an asset
• Relevant work experience in financial services - accounting, commercial banking, or investment banking would be an asset
• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work .
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint) and Capital IQ
• Comprehensive financial and accounting skills and understanding of cash flow, financial modelling and valuation methodologies
• Eager to participate in business development opportunities and initiatives
• A proactive and dedicated self-starter who is quick to learn and apply new concepts with a demonstrated ability to be creative and effective in issue resolution
• Ability to take initiative to manage numerous projects simultaneously under time constraints

The salary range for this position is $ 60 , 0 00 - $ 70 , 0 00 . The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres . Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
