Job Title: Consultant – Content Migration / Data Migration (6‑Month Contract, with option to extend)
Location: Québec, Canada
Salary: $55–$85 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Our client is a major professional services organization that supports large‑scale digital transformation initiatives across Canada. They are seeking an experienced Consultant specializing in content and data migration to support a high‑visibility project focused on transitioning complex information from legacy systems into modern platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, technical environments and has hands‑on experience with system migration, data mapping, and data quality validation. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team working on a multi‑phase migration program with the potential for contract extension based on performance and project needs.
What You’ll Do
- Support end‑to‑end system and content migration activities
- Perform data mapping between legacy systems and target platforms
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the migration process
- Assist with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve data discrepancies and integration issues
- Document migration processes, mapping logic, and data structures
- Contribute to testing cycles, including UAT and post‑migration validation
- Support integration activities and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Qualifications
- Experience with system migration (required)
- Strong background in data migration and data mapping (required)
- Knowledge of data integration concepts (nice to have)
- Experience with Xillio or similar migration tools (nice to have)
- Ability to work in Québec, Canada (required)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a structured project environment
