A career in our International Tax Desk practice, within International Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help multinational companies address their cross border tax needs both locally and globally by managing their global tax rates, finding areas of cost reduction, and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities. You'll gain a global perspective and an awareness of tax issues stemming from changes to evolving business structures and geographic expansions.Our team advises our clients on tax laws and reporting, legislation and planning strategies based on the geography and jurisdiction. You'll be assisting our team with local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing and indirect tax and other international taxation needs.
Meaningful work you'll be part of

As an U.S. Tax Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•US corporate and partnership income tax compliance•Assistance with researching and advising clients on a broad range of US business tax issues•Application of innovative tax technology solutions•Tax provision preparation and review•Working with an integrated team on transactions, restructurings, and other tax consulting opportunities for multinational and cross-border clients•Share and collaborate effectively with others.•Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise.•Handle, manipulate and analyze data and information responsibly.•Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve

•Enrolled in or completed post-secondary education in Accounting•Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas•Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills; an ability to think broadly and to ask questions about data, facts and other information to deliver quality to our clients•Share and collaborate effectively with others, building relationships which are genuine and rooted in trust•Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities•Examples of alignment with PwC Values: Acting with Integrity, Working Together, Care, Reimagine the Possible and Make a Difference•You'll be comfortable traveling to cities across Canada (when deemed safe to do so by applicable public health or regulatory authorities and PwC• The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives
