In this role, as a key member of our TELUS Health team, you will be joining a growing team of specialists, who are working to transform & convert health data for Canadian doctors to a TELUS Electronic Medical Record (EMR). This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience and skillset within an innovative and collaborative environment. Your work will be crucial to the success of the EMR platform within TELUS Health.

Here's how

As part of the team, you'll be responsible for:
    •Responding to escalations received from any team on events and problems •Providing timely resolutions within the contracted Service Levels for all client supported software, hardware, and LAN infrastructure •Participating in various team & project meetings •Responsible for the creation and maintenance of client specific documentation in support of a standard operating environment •Planning appropriate execution of own tasks so that time is effectively used and progress can be monitored


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Technical skills within the core relevant technical proficiencies: Software, Hardware, Networking •Ability to work on large, multi-functional complex systems •Starting to develop advanced levels of skills in the area of interest in terms of technical expertise (e.g. Software, Hardware and Networking) •Experience with building technical documents/bulletins/communication •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills •Ability to work independently with in a team environment, work under pressure, and prioritize requests/workload is essential •Quick learner, self-starter and accountable •Experience with a high paced, high volume workload •Previous EMR experience is an asset •At least 3 years' experience in a systems management role •Hardware & software certifications •Bilingualism in English & French •Required Technical Skills:
      •Windows Server •Hyper-V •Active Directory •IIS •MS SQL Server •WSUS •Jira/Confluence •Linux a bonus

NOTE THAT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE WEEKEND AND EVENING WORK. Candidate must be prepared to work these hours.
