The Information Technology (IT) Tier II team is presently looking for a high-performing full time fully bilingual individual with strong work ethics and superior technical aptitudes. This dynamic team provides real time support to multiple external clients across Canada and internationally.
The successful candidate must be available to work 7x24 shift rotation. Here's how
The work consists of a wide variety of platforms, technologies, and roles:
•Windows desktop support (All Versions)
•Windows server support (All Versions)
•UNIX/Linux server support
•Network support TecT
•Managed Security support
•2 factor authentication system, e.g. RSA SecurID & Cryptocard
•NetBackup application support Qualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•Technical knowledge: Great-to-haves
•Active Directory 2003/2008/2012
•Microsoft (MS) Exchange
•UNIX & UNIX-like operating systems
•Networking, including knowledge in LAN, WAN, SD-WAN
•PowerShell & UNIX scripting an asset
•Ability to prioritize and multitask work
•Ability to perform job functions under stress and pressure
•Ability to adapt to new technologies
•Experience working on central helpdesk teams
•Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & French
•Excellent customer service skills
•Must have and maintain one or more of the following valid certification(s):
•Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada (GoC) Level II (Secret) clearance
•Experience in an IT Service Desk
