A career within the Tax Reporting & Strategies practice (a division of Innovation Services) will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients' tax services rethink, redefine and redeploy tax planning as a strategic business asset. You will assist clients with efforts to further automate the tax reporting process, boost their analytical capabilities via data integration and create solid internal controls enabling the tax function to provide better-quality results and contribute more strategically to organizational decision-making.\nOur team helps our clients expand the tax services mandate by including research, analysis and technology with a view to improving how their companies collaborate and function. You will focus on improving the tax reporting process via cutting-edge automation, the integration of high-quality data, the development of analytical capabilities and the use of technology to yield better-quality results in less time.

Experiences and skills you'll use to solve•A bachelor's degree in accounting, tax or a related field.•Experience in the areas of process automation technology, visualization tools, business/tax compliance, tax provisions and advisory.•Interest in upgrading skills in a digital world and in technological trends, openness to learning new tools and new ways of working.•Demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, providing diversified teams with training and coaching opportunities and ensuring that diverse viewpoints are heard.•Interest in improving tax processes, managing tax risks and implementing technological solutions.•In-depth mastery of Excel features such as PowerQuery, PowerPivot and PowerBI.•Experience in implementing integrated resource/financial management systems would be an asset.•Demonstrated experience in analyzing problems, identifying underlying causes and seeking out and evaluating solutions.•Able to work as a team and collaborate within a national advisory services group with a view to forging constructive and influential relationships with clients and colleagues.•Fluent in English and French•A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
