Reporting to the development manager, you will actively contribute to the advancement and maintenance of TELUS Health solutions.
More specifically, the responsibilities and requirements of the Systems Analyst II will include, but will not be limited to:Responsibilities:
•Carrying out integration activities in accordance with functional specifications
•Actively contributing to the development of test plans in conjunction with the Quality Assurance team
•Carrying out programming activities in accordance with the relevant documentation and functional specifications
•Growing within a team in a development environment
•Developing documentation including functional specifications, testing and implementation guides
•Maintaining, implementing and configuring software in multiple environments
•General administration of Linux and Windows systems
•Availability to be on call in order to provide 24/7 support (on rotation)
•Availability to work outside the regular work week for special implementations Qualifications:Required Knowledge:
•Bash, Ksh, scripting
•Networking basics, Firewall, load balancer, NAT/PAT
•PGP , SSH and Certificates Required Skills & Abilities:
•Ability to represent TELUS in a professional manner when working with internal and external clients
•Proficiency in research, analysis, problem-solving and decision-making
•Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
•Bilingual (French/English) Required Professional Designation/Certification:
•Post-secondary diploma/certification in IT and work experience for the above requested knowledge Required Experience:
•3 years Admin experience in Linux SysAdm
