Senior Manager, Business Planning Quebec

Rogers is seeking a Regional Business Planning leader that can drive the development, execution, and communication of regional business plans and strategies that support the objectives of the service expansion team for the Quebec Region.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, planning you will play a key role in defining the Regional plan for Service Expansion in Quebec and managing the functional interdependencies across the multiple programs that are part of the Service Expansion portfolio.This role will drive consolidated service expansion projects to support strategic business and capital build programs.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the planning, development, and execution of the regional service expansion programs for Quebec
  • Leveraging cross functional relationships and expertise within Rogers to ensure business objectives are achieved
  • Developing a regional plan to drive leadership in collaboration with multiple business unit leaders.
  • Manage interdependencies across multiple programs and initiatives to ensure they support the overall objectives and goals of the regional strategic plan.
  • Proactively communicating to multiple levels of the organization to provide status updates as well as to secure alignment on key decisions, support from the upper management when needed and resources.
  • Passion for community engagement, local partnerships and relationship building
  • Support Regional Executive Team in preparation for ELT reviews in partnership with Business Unit leaders' Planning and Strategy for alignment on expectations
  • Maintain and analyze regional scorecard data and provide regular insights and narrative to Regional Executive Team on trends and drivers and facilitate business reviews
  • Directly manage projects and programs as required, applying the best practices of project management to achieve the project's objectives and realize the business case benefits.
  • Assess operational processes and provide recommendations to streamline as required
  • Contributing to the success of the Service Expansion team by providing your inputs and ideas as part of the strategic planning of the service expansion portfolio.
  • Collaborating with key partners for alignment on initiatives that impact the region; Leading and influencing diverse group of stakeholders across multiple functions, geographies, and cultures

What you will bring...

  • 7+ years of experience in the telecom industry at the management level, preferably in roles related to strategic planning or the deployment or implementation of solutions in the telecom industry.
  • Experience in managing a group of simultaneous initiatives.
  • Completely conversant in collaboration tools such as MS Teams, SharePoint, Confluence, MS Planner, and other MS Office tools.
  • Knowledge and consistent application of proven industry standard Project Management approaches.
  • Strong financial knowledge. Able to read and understand business cases and financial forecasts
  • Creativity, flexibility, and an ability to manage time and reset priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Superior skill set, including analytical thinking and problem solving, coaching and leadership, presentation and facilitation, negotiation and relationship building and proficient probing, listening, and positioning skills
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, or related technical field is an asset
