The Data and Insights (DAI) group supports various business partners by providing valuable insights about TDI business. The General Insurance Claims Insights team aims to provide a holistic view and understanding of claims results and trends to various stakeholders: Claims, Shared Services, Pricing, Corporate Actuarial, Product, Finance, etc.
This team investigates emerging frequency and severity trends. It provides business insights, expertise and consultative support to guide decision making and strategic planning, leveraging and interpreting data to provide business-specific and broad strategic insights.Job Description
Contribute to and lead analysis and reporting on claims results and trends in partnership with stakeholders:
Develop and improve analytic tools and methods to support insight generation.
Serve as an authority on claims results and trends, providing expertise to put analytics discoveries in context.
Be comfortable interacting and collaborating with business partners across the organization on a regular basis.
Achieve a holistic view of claims with the ability to speak to both the actuarial and operational aspects.
Participate in the production of recurrent analysis related to claims. Be able to summarize the results and explain variances.
Perform deep-dive analyses on claims results and communicate the results effectively.
Leverage visualization in the communication of insights to illustrate key trends and concepts with clarity.
Proactive in the identification of issues, trends and opportunities arising from analysis and insights.Requirements
Bachelors or Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, actuarial or other relevant discipline
5 to 10 years of experience in relevant and progressively more responsible roles in insurance.
Must possess by at least 5 years of relevant work experience in (Analytics, Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Business Intelligence, General Insurance Claims, Actuarial, …)

Experience with Guidewire Claims Center or similar software an asset.
Bilingual (English and French) an asset.
