Job summary
The Digital Content and Commerce Systems (DCCS) Team is on a mission to enable Amazon's device and subscription businesses to innovate faster and deliver more. The team focuses on reliability, scalability, security and cost efficiency in this space by building highly scalable and massive services that are self-serviceable and configurable. Most of the team's focus is on aligning distributed technologies to provide an exceptional customer experience and they are owning much of the e-commerce foundation for Amazon. The team supports publishing and purchasing across cornerstone Amazon businesses like Alexa Shopping, Kindle, Appstore, Amazon Music, Audible and Games. The team is growing and scaling as customer engagement with the subscriptions businesses and bundles continues to grow and they are looking for engineers who want to be at the forefront of this large-scale development innovating quickly for many of Amazon customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Plus de 2 ans d'expérience professionnelle en développement de logiciels, hors stag / 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Plus de 1 an d'expérience en lien avec la conception ou à l'architecture du système (architecture, modèles de conception, fiabilité et mise à l'échelle) de systèmes nouveaux et actuels / 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
  • Expérience de la programmation avec au moins un langage de programmation de logiciels / Programming experience with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Computer fundamentals in algorithm , problem solving, and complexity analysis

Experience building complex systems that have been successfully delivered to customers

Experience building highly-available distributed systems

Knowledge of professional engineering practices & best practices for the life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations

Ability to take a project(s) from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project(s)

Strong written and verbal communication skills preferred
