As Senior Strategy Manager of Product & Market Intelligence within the Health Benefits Solutions team, the successful candidate will monitor and analyze the different market trends of health insurance (drugs, dental care and extended health care) to contribute to the product management strategy. Also, the successful candidate will develop and/or contribute to product and innovation strategies (Drug). Propose innovative solutions ensuring consistency with market trends.

    •Market data •Industry trends & initiatives •Events coverage & insights •Customer and competitor knowledge: Maintain information about customers & competitors •Stakeholder relationships •Compile various data from the group insurance market and draw strategic trends

Here's how
    •Monitor market trends and communicate them to internal teams and clients •Target business and/or positioning opportunities and develop the required strategies with internal team •Develop or contribute to the product management and innovation strategies, particularly with respect to market trends •Conduct market and customer research in support of developing the product strategy and roadmap •Document concept for new products, innovative solutions and/or enhancements to meet existing or anticipated market needs and present according to established product development process¸ •Initiate and prioritize development projects; plan, develop, and communicate strategy for product launch and initial forecast; track sales, costs, margins and effects on product revenues; and conduct continued product life cycle modeling and tracking •Attend and participate to industry events to make strategic contributions and increase the visibility of TELUS Health •Lead the organization of TELUS Conferences in the selection of content and speakers, in collaboration with other internal teams •Represent TELUS Health with various stakeholders in the Quebec and Canadian group insurance industry (CLHIA/CLHIA, pharmaceutical companies, AQPP, etc.) •Understand, apply and communicate the peculiarities related to the management of drug plans in Quebec, in relation to the legislative and contractual context •Appropriate and deliver results on special projects identified by the management team •Examples of such projects include strategic partnership reviews, special projects, new corporate priorities that require immediate attention, process improvement initiatives, and more

    •Clever communicator •Ease to build and maintain business relationships and networks •Skills in consultation and report/presentation •Requires a vast knowledge of the industry •Demonstrates a solid knowledge of business analysis and process methodology •10 years of experience in the health care field •Relevant bachelor education •Strong organizational skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, including experience in high-level business discussions •Excellent teamwork skills •Should be good with working with remote teams •Must be available to travel •Bilingualism is essential

    •Bachelor degree in Pharmacy •Experience in pharmacy
