From coming up with a concept to determining development and market trial costs, the team supports and leads the design work with TELUS experts to optimize the benefits for our clients, create a one-of-a-kind client experience and support corporate strategies.

The influence you will have, and what we will achieve together

As Senior Program Manager, you will have the leadership and integrated design vision needed to develop innovative Design approaches focused on our clients' challenges.

As an integration expert, you will be responsible for the coherence and development of the various aspects of the proposed solutions, including the service proposal, technology, IT system and operating model. To do so, you will communicate clearly with multisectorial experts to inspire them and ensure the development of a creative approach focused on our clients' challenges, all in order to propose the best solutions and their development quotes.

When challenges arise, you will face them by trying to make sense of them, showing empathy and creativity, turning to our front-line experts to properly define our clients' issues, and using TELUS's expert architects in a collaborative Design approach to develop the best, most avant-garde solutions on the market and their development plan.

You will serve as a link with the executive team regarding the program's content and vision. Under your guidance, the teams will develop innovative, leading-edge programs that will maximize both customer adoption and TELUS's market share. As such, you will promote TELUS's visibility as an industry leader in integrated managed solutions.

Here's how
    •As an industry expert, you will
      •Manage the yearly strategic roadmap development activities with Marketing •Clearly define the outline and the expected benefits of the program's various project •Support the design teams when it comes to vision and content, and summarize technical recommendations in terms of tangible benefits and client experience •Provide comparative analyses of the different potential solutions and produce expert recommendations •Train and guide team members as to the newest design methodologies
    •As a business partner, you will
      •Consult the teams about the clientèle to remain informed about our clients' issues •Create and analyze cases and decisions to define the requirements and use expert collaborators in a creative approach to reach the business plan objectives and make the offer stand out •Lead the transfer of our roadmaps to the business services standardization team
    •As a planner, you will
      •Develop and monitor the quality of the program's solutions •Break down the implementation steps to maximize market adoption •Plan prototypes and pilot client trials
    •As a manager of expert collaboration, you will
      •Foster trusting relationships with various TELUS collaborators and groups across all levels of the organization •Promote a customer-oriented collaborative spirit in all technical teams •Support the standardization teams in solving design issues •Collect items of feedback from client users, interpret them and propose alternatives to refine the design of the services' development estimates

      •Question the status quo and motivate your collaborators to do the same •Take calculated risks, present new approaches and create new best practices

      •Communicate diligently, clearly and in a personal manner with the various project and executive stakeholders •Be confident and professional when delivering presentations to the various stakeholders


Qualifications:


You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Knowledge of and experience with design methodologies •Experience modelling complex environments •Good understanding of traditional telecom services and cloud-based services •Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and cross-functional teams •Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills •Organizational and time-management skills •University diploma •7 to 10 years of equivalent experience, with a minimum of 7 years' experience in managing cross-functional programs and stakeholder groups

Assets
    •Academic training in engineering, IT and/or administration •Training in ITIL and Agile •Professional project management certification, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Own.it, or equivalent certification
