What is the opportunity?

The Digital team is seeking a passionate, results-oriented, and innovative Sr. Product Manager, primarily to drive the development of a large scale modernization program that will tackle both infrastructure enhancements and provide RBC clients with a superior client experience.

In this role, you will contribute to the vision and strategy for your aspect of the Digital product, you'll help define the product's roadmap and deliver clear requirements to Designers and Engineers who will bring the vision to life. You will also have to navigate the organization and work collaboratively with cross-functional partners and Lines-of-business partners, guiding them to the best digital experience.

You'll help drive the day-to-day product development schedule from design through to release, own the product life-cycle, and define and monitor metrics that measure the success of the product.

RBC Digital is a dynamic and rapidly evolving organization where tackling ambiguity in a collaborative way is essential to personal, team, and customer success. Product management at RBC Digital is inherently cross-functional. The right candidate needs to be an owner of their portfolio and make strategic product decisions informed by data. You will work closely with business teams, leaders, and dedicated user experience design and engineering teams in an agile development environment to launch new features and experiences.

What will you do?

  • Communicate effectively the vision and strategy, taking into consideration different stakeholders
  • Build high-quality, functional prototypes that convey, prove, and advance the vision of future RBC products and applications
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders from concept through to shipping
  • Work with designers, management, internal business partners, delivery manager, engineers and other subject matter experts
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of product development; including ideation, design, development, implementation and validation
  • Define the KPIs to measure the success of the product

What do you need to succeed?

Must have Skill:

  • 3 years of experience as a product manager
  • Strong data and analytics background
  • Understand and fluent usage across a broad spectrum of technologies including mobile technologies, AI, security and payments
  • Strong creative and conceptual thinker as well as, strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Passionate focus on the customer and unwavering commitment to quality
  • Functional knowledge required for both French and English languages

Nice-to-have Skill:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business
