Meaningful work you'll be part of
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Gather market intelligence/data on clients, vendors and/or solutions and c onduct business analysis and prepare business cases for client review
• Business process design and mapping and p erform testing on business process controls
• Summarize findings in data visualization tools, Microsoft Office suite or Google applications etc.
• Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders on key findings
• Prepare deliverables within stated timelines, tracking progress as required by team leadership
• Liaise with client to organize workshops, meetings and focus groups and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders on key findings
• Conduct analysis and document results including examining data and identifying processes gaps, and document/present data evidence / evaluation results using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx etc.
• Provide related deliverables in accordance with the Acceleration Centre guidelines.
• Provide SME advice and support on using the firm's data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx etc.
• Create / Support development of team training decks/slides and help reinforce best practices
• Exceptional analytical capability is critical, able to apply the necessary judgment to ask questions, provide immediate feedback and assess issues as they arise
• Understand the process workflow related to work requests from initiation through completion, how workflow is managed within the firm's workflow management tool
• Have sound business sense and a creative mind that have earned you a reputation of providing service excellence
• Excellent / skilled communicator with a proven ability to interact successfully with clients and co-workers at all level s
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve
• Exceptional analytical capability and own initiatives, able to apply the necessary judgment to ask questions, provide immediate feedback and assess issues as they arise
• Able to deliver / work under pressure; possess "Can-Do" attitude, and ability to operate within tight deadlines and sound understanding of work prioritization
• Demonstrate self-motivation and a desire to take responsibility for personal growth and development
• Contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seek guidance, clarification and feedback
• Attention to detail with the ability to participate , communicate and apply knowledge to deliver quality results
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and successfully multitask
• Independent/self-starter and take responsibility for the information processed for decisions and actions
• The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
