Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

Account Managers at TELUS own customer relationships and account strategies. You will champion TELUS inside of customer organizations and advocate for the customer inside of TELUS. As Account Manager, you will quarterback the strategy for your accounts, an interdependent account team of customer sales architects, business sales analysts and wholesale product managers supported by dedicated senior business leaders. You'll leverage the broad capabilities of TELUS - from inter-carrier connectivity, network backbone, end customer broadband to managed services, security solutions, IoT and mobility - and various subject matter experts in the internal environment and partner community. You will have individual targets for both revenue and growth and see the impact of our digital initiatives in simplifying the way we do business in the wholesale space.

Here's how
    •Drive Partner Solutions strategic objective of business growth, strengthening our wholesale market position and leveraging various resellers channel to market •Analyse customer needs, identify opportunities for increasing revenue through a thorough understanding of customer business and market changes •Seek and engage key prospective new telecom players •Initiate, develop and maintain relationship with key decision-makers of existing and prospective customers •Embrace TELUS Premier Sales Organization practices and tools for success •Negotiate and drive closure of sales arrangements •Develop engagement strategy and position TELUS solutions, oversee the preparation of proposals with internal and partner teams •Provide accurate, relevant and timely management information on funnel activities for the effective alignment of plans and business forecasts



Qualifications:

You're the missing piece of the puzzle
    •Proven record of identifying business opportunities, promptly assessing risks and potential, driving the development of a strong mutually beneficial business arrangements •Exceptional representation and negotiations skills •High energy level and demonstrated drive to succeed in solutions selling, surpass sales targets, grow in untapped markets or solutions sub-segments •Team collaborator; ability to express business requirements to internal groups in defining custom solutions and Structure findings/recommendations for a senior audience •Work effectively independently and virtually across time zones while leveraging functional team members •Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment - comfortable with managing ambiguity •A minimum of 5 years of related telecommunications sales experience and client relationship management •Business or technical undergraduate degree; MBA an asset •Mastering both English and French spoken and written languages

    •Understanding of global connectivity and over-the-top solutions evolution affecting telecom industry •Telecommunication industry regulatory environment knowledge •Financial acumen
