A career in Firm Strategy and Communications, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to establish effective communication programmes that enhance PwC's vision, strategy, values, and purpose. You'll focus on designing communication initiatives that aid in implementing new policies and programmes and that will enhance the organisation's relations with the community, public, government, shareholders, and employees.
Our Internal Communications team creates and implements the most effective communication strategies and tactics that drives PwC's strategy and aligns its vision and purpose. As part of the team, you'll create high quality and high impact communications that engage our partners and people and enhance the PwC's culture and brand.Important point to considerThe application deadline for this opportunity is August 2nd, 2021. As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to: Contribute to the development of Public Relations strategy and execute, as aligned to the Marketing team, and national firm wide priorities as directed by the Senior Public Relations Manager
Develop a range of content to support the positive positioning and brand attributes of the firm through press releases, contributed articles, Partner profiling and media relations, pitching and messaging
Collaborate with the National Communications team to develop and maintain the firm's communications "cascade" model to support PwC's strategy and priorities
Work with Marketing colleagues, as well as internal and external stakeholders to create integrated traditional and media campaigns
Oversee firm media reporting needs and work with Senior Manager to develop regular reports and analysis of PwC media coverage including competitive analysis on a monthly basis for the national stakeholders
Support in the development of media relations strategy and play an active role in ongoing media relationship management.
Develop and implement best practices in relation to traditional and digital external communications channels
Conduct research, as necessary, to support the development of Public Relations strategy and tactics
Share and liaise on communications best practices with Marketing colleagues
Develop national PR plans based for market-facing campaigns, in consultation with members of the Communications team, which aligns with the Firm's key themes, campaigns and thought leadership
Provide impactful communications tactics and activities for delivery across multiple external audiences, via appropriate digital channels and platforms
Provide strategic guidance and advice to effectively manage the communication needs of regional and national stakeholders
Research opportunities to build regional and national leader profiles and position appropriately regarding relevant areas of focus and the Firm's overall brand and key marketplace themes
Coordinate and liaise with external public relations firm for stakeholder media training
Work closely with Senior Public Relations Manager on any reputational or issues management
Advises with collaboration of the Senior Public Relations Manager to the Firm on PR protocol, key messages, and spokespeople

Proven experience in a series of communication roles, ideally within a professional services firm
Experience with a range of conventional and digital media
An understanding of corporate communications and its link to business priorities
Excellent organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated success working with senior leadership, developing relationships, addressing their needs and providing communications counsel
Demonstrated achievement in understanding the needs and sensitivities of different audiences and adapting appropriate writing style and content
Attention to detail, deadlines and impact of actions on others
Willingness to aid colleagues and contribute to the continual building of a successful, high-functioning team
The ability to work effectively in a matrix and relationship driven organization
Excellent written and oral communications skills in both English and French is required in this role
