The Marketing Manager reports to the Director, Marketing, for the greater Consumer and Small Business Solutions and Customer Experience team. The Marketing Manager, go-to-market, will be tasked with managing a team responsible for creating and implementing customer marketing strategies, as well as go-to-market programs and plans. The incumbent must create and oversee the implementation of the omni-channel strategy to facilitate and simplify customer enrolment, regardless of customers' chosen point of contact.

    •Plan, direct and influence the implementation of marketing strategies in line with the company's objectives •Manage a team that develops and implements innovative marketing programs to create opportunities for growth and differentiation for TELUS •Direct a high-performance, highly engaged team by demonstrating effective, measurable leadership through mobilization and recognition, the execution of performance quality processes and knowledge transfer •Act as a strategic consultant by sharing thorough knowledge of the consumer market and developing leading-edge marketing strategies accordingly •Establish relationships that will guarantee strong ties with business units and internal and external partners •Build and maintain strong relationships and oversee the general management of business conducted with strategic partners and service providers •Participate in creating content strategy and be responsible for managing related operations in order to make products and services attractive to customers and ensure profitability •Direct, train and supervise a team of marketing professionals in the execution of their tasks •Be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for commercial channels and overseeing marketing, positioning and communication plans with these channels while ensuring their support and the product documentation •Be responsible for developing integrated solutions and knowledge of how to integrate and optimize various value chains from end to end for TELUS products and services •Plan your sector's budget and ensure rigorous monitoring of the budget including the management of any equipment required for delivering our services to customers •Act as a sector representative for the national teams


Qualifications:

    •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French •Skilled communication with stakeholders and customers, including presentation, listening, negotiation, interpersonal relationship and problem-solving skills •Strong leadership and mentorship skills to effectively support the team and obtain support from key stakeholders and clients •Exceptional communication and presentation skills, an ability to build relationships with key internal and external resource people and upper management, and the capacity to lead and influence cross-functional teams •Adaptability suited to working in a constantly changing and ambiguous environment •Understanding of business, technology and telecommunications processes and general business and financial acumen •Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization •Business sense and communication experience at the senior management level •Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, economics or a related field •A minimum of 10 years of growing experience in marketing, specialized leadership knowledge and a strong track record of achieving team objectives
