Within TELUS Business Solutions, The Sales Programs & Execution Team, is an environment like no other and offers opportunities to not only realize personal growth objectives but also perform highly engaging work that spans many functions within a sales enablement role. The Sales Programs & Execution Team supports sales within our fixed and mobile initiatives targeting the mid-market business space.

Our Market Intelligence Manager will work to achieve our goal of creating long term sustainable growth for our account executives. In this role, you will wear several hats: strategic influencer, consultant, analyst, forecaster and storyteller. You will help establish, monitor and assess key programs (internal communications, training, virtual selling, sales insights, contests, events, webinars, marketing campaign support,...) to make ongoing iterations to develop and deliver initiatives that truly resonate with our business sales team and customers.

Within this role, you're not afraid to dive deep into the details as required but can easily synthesize and communicate with senior leaders and stakeholders in support of key initiatives or programs. You are a pragmatic, no-nonsense team member that enjoys complex business problems. Your counsel is equal parts logic, analysis and strategy. You have a natural curiosity and you appreciate that failure and vulnerability are healthy ways to learn and grow.

Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together

You will collaborate with both the core leadership team, sales executives and cross-functional teams to support the following key activities:
    •Develop a culture of performance and competition through contests and Sales Incentive Programs •Increase efficiency by facilitating the deployment of tools, processes and trainings •Share and optimize internal communication •Facilitate contacts, positioning and adoption by providing intel and relevant information •Support and action national/regional initiatives and provide feedback and increase team engagement •Create and develop relationships by building events, partnerships •Maintain profitable growth Index management and reporting for our Vice President for Sales •Manage various process improvement projects already underway that impact Business Sales & Marketing •Be the interface with the broader process improvement teams to ensure linkages to ongoing initiatives are communicated effectively & efficiently to the Sales & Marketing teams

Here's how
    •Establish a collection of on-going projects/programs to facilitate consistent communication of status and benefit •Facilitate dynamic workshops to solicit feedback and conduct deep-dives to drive forward initiatives •Provide accurate and timely target/objective updates to executive audiences that track progress on identified key programs •Partner with primes and key stakeholders from Sales, Marketing, Business Intelligence & Delivery teams to successfully lead and manage the implementation of product forecasts by region and segment •Lead analysis and prepare executive-level summary reports to support decision making and drive operational effectiveness •Work with cross functional teams, field teams and our leadership team to develop recommendations, define key success measures and create the project plan to execute •Constantly look for ways to improve how we execute through regular post mortems and assessments


You're the missing piece of the puzzle

You can play the role of consultant and have exceptional collaboration, relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills, including compelling storytelling and an ability to present to executive audiences. With your financial & business acumen includes the ability to understand and integrate all internal & external drivers: i.e. Economics, Operations, etc., that impact problem solving and decision making, as well as an understanding of pricing & marketing levers and their impacts to business.

You are likely in a similar marketing or program management position today and possess many of the traits and experience points below:

    •Proven hypothesis-driven approach to analyzing problems with an ability to zoom in and uncover insights that inform actionable decisions •Flexible presentation & communication skills for executive & front line audiences •Ability to navigate complex teams and collaborate with influence, with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders to gain buy-in •Proven track record for consistently delivering results and effectively meeting program milestones •Outstanding business & financial acumen with the ability to anticipate and develop strategies in a rapidly evolving telecommunication industry •Strong analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with superior ability to creatively solve problems •Recipient of a bachelor degree or post-secondary diploma in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent education and/or experience •Proficiency in French language is required

    •Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to handle multiple initiatives and prioritize effectively •Desire to continuously improve your skill set and our team's processes to enable our Business Sales organization for continued growth •Business undergraduate or master degree and/or 5+ years of equivalent combination of experience & education •Experience managing complex projects and strong stakeholder management
