What you will do

Successful candidates will be responsible for the following:
  • Managing IAM engagement preparations and performance
  • Simultaneously managing several client engagements of varying scope, size and complexity
  • Providing IAM expertise and translate technical matters into business language for a C‑suite audience
  • Helping lead our clients through small‑ to large‑scale IAM security transformations
  • Championing at least one of the team's complementary service offerings
  • Communicating (verbal and written) findings, recommendations and other information to the client
  • Taking part in relationship and business development; taking an active role in the business community to increase awareness of the firm's services; developing and maturing relationships internally and with existing and target clients; identifying and assisting in pursuit of opportunities; helping develop marketing materials, proposals, presentations and research
  • Leading and contributing to other practice initiatives, including knowledge sharing, training and other activities
  • Providing guidance and oversight to more junior personnel

What you bring to the role

Successful candidates have demonstrated expertise within some of these areas:
  • IAM strategy development
  • IAM governance and service delivery structure
  • Qualitative and quantitative assessment of IAM risks
  • Define KPIs and dashboards to monitor IAM maturity and risk developments
  • IAM policies, guidelines, methodologies and procedures
  • Information security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001/02, SANS, PCI, etc.)
  • IAM maturity assessments
  • IAM privacy issues
  • Development of target IAM domain architecture
  • Protection of access to sensitive unstructured data
  • Third‑party IAM risk assessment
  • Raising user and employee awareness of IAM issues
  • Analysis and monitoring of the IAM market and solutions available

Skills and qualifications

Successful candidates will possess a strong mixture of the following education, experience, skills and behaviours:
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline MBA is an asset
  • Relevant professional credentials and certifications are an asset, such as CISSP, CISM and other IAM certifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in total with a minimum of 5 years focused on IAM engagements
  • Experience in any of the following industries is an asset: financial services, technology, cloud-based businesses (e.g., IaaS, SaaS), retail and manufacturing
  • Organized and methodical, with strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret information
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to clearly communicate issues and solutions to all levels, on both a formal and informal basis
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Quebec and more widely within Canada if required
