A career in our Translation Services Generalist - Client Services team, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide a complete range of specialised translation services and linguistic solutions for accounting and financial documents and other communication needs to our clients. You'll focus on client facing translation and review services for financial statements, risk management reports, internal control reports, and other important business documents.
Meaningful work you'll be part ofAs a Layout Assistant, Linguistic Services , you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Ensure that tables and documents are formatted according to Linguistic Services standards and in accordance with the project manager's instructions
• Participate in special projects, as needed
• In general, provide any administrative support necessary for the proper functioning of the team
• Contribute to the development of the Linguistic Services team by sharing views and ideas
• Format documents quickly and accurately and work collaboratively with colleagues by sharing guidelines and best practices
• Utilize cost-effective and efficient methods to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction
• Align documents using Logiterm as needed
Experiences and skills you'll use to solve• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Able to multitask and prioritize work
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly and productively
• Demonstrate team spirit and take initiative
• Knowledge of translation processes is an asset
• Knowledge of translation software is an asset
• The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
• A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives
