It is called the Canadian Delivery Centre (CDC) and is located in Canada's main bilingual business centre, Montreal.
As a Junior Cloud Support Consultant in the CDC, you will be part of a team that delivers new technology solutions to our clients, leveraging leading cloud service providers (ex: AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). You will be part of a team that supports client's live solutions, often immediately after being released to a user community. We will count on you to support client's day to day infrastructure operations, resolve cloud related issues quickly, provide excellent customer service, and execute critical system changes or maintenance.

Le poste :
  • Soutenir les activités journalières du client dans une infrastructure servant de plateforme de service (p. ex., AWS et Azure) .
  • Gérer des incidents liés à des solutions infonuagiques en veillant à ce que tous les billets soient traités et fermés dans les délais cibles des ententes de niveau de service (ENS) .
  • Corriger les problèmes liés au réseau, au stockage, au calcul de données ou à des applications touchant les services infonuagiques (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) .
  • Gérer la mise en place de nouvelles situations et de nouveaux emplacements dans des environnements de production.
  • Créer et mettre à jour des procédures opérationnelles standards pour les activités opérationnelles quotidiennes .
  • Veiller à ce qu'un contrôle proactif soit exercé sur l'infrastructure infonuagique et à ce que le délai d'intervention soit court .
  • Exercer une surveillance sur les environnements, et diriger la gestion de correctifs et d'autres travaux de maintenance et de révision à la hausse ou à la baisse en matière de calcul des données et de mémoire s.
  • Produire des rapports d'avancement centrés sur des paramètres quotidiens, hebdomadaires et mensuels.


Long Description
  • Produire des saisies d'écran des volumes en déplaçant les données d'un endroit à un autre ou en rétablissant des données en fonction des demandes des utilisateurs .
  • Traiter les demandes d'approvisionnement relatives au stockage, au calcul des données ou aux réseaux en fonction des demandes des clients ou des équipes internes .
  • Diriger les groupes ou les utilisateurs de la gestion des identités et des accès en fonction des paramètres définis.
  • Établir et contrôler des paramètres du rendement et de l'utilisation de l'infrastructure . Cerner et résoudre proactivement les problèmes de rendement.
  • Configurer une sauvegarde courante des archives pour les applications et les bases de données.
  • Effectuer des mises à jour des correctifs de sécurité des systèmes d'exploitation des appareils virtuels .
  • Confier à des fournisseurs les travaux de dépannage qui requièrent le soutien d'un tiers .
  • Configurer des déclencheurs d'événements pour des environnements de production et de non-production.


The role

- Support client's day to day operations on an infrastructure as a service platform (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Resolve cloud solutions related incidents making sure all the tickets are addressed and closed within SLA targets
- Troubleshoot issues related to network, storage, compute or application on Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP, etc)
- Manage the implementation of new instances and sites into production environments
- Create and update Standard Operations Procedures (SOP's) for daily operational activities
- Ensure proactive monitoring is enabled and timely responded for cloud infrastructure
- Monitor environments, lead patch management or other regular maintenance and scale up or down for compute and memory
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly metrics driven status reports
- Provide snapshots of volumes, moving data from one location to another, or restoring data based on user request
- Handle provisioning requests for storage, compute or networks based on client or internal team requests
- Manage Identity Access Management groups/users based on defined parameters
- Set up and monitor metrics for Infrastructure performance and utilization. Proactively identify and resolve any performance issues.
- Set up routine archival backup for applications and databases
- Perform virtual machine OS security patch updates
- Engage vendors for any troubleshooting that require 3rd party support
- Set up event triggers for production and non-production environments

You have:

- Experience managing infrastructure managed services (e.g. AWS) and overseeing a technical team
- Experience implementing system management tools to provide monitoring and management of all cloud infrastructures
- Experience designing and maintaining security policies and procedures for cloud services
- Experience leading communication through all tiers of support to ensure incidents are resolved expeditiously
- Solid understanding of information security standards and IT frameworks (e.g. NIST, CoBIT, or ITIL)
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Good problem solving, critical thinking & analytical skills
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering degree or equivalent
- Strong presentation & negotiation skills
- Experience supporting infrastructure on Azure, AWS, GCP or similar
- Possess infrastructure certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, GCP Associate or MS Azure Professional)
- 10+ years of overall working experience (3-5 years of cloud experience)
- Must be available on-call for intervention and incident response
- Must be eligible for Canadian government Secret (Level II) security clearance
