A career in our Indirect Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
Our team helps our clients optimise cash flow and reduce risk by managing challenges related to indirect taxes. You'll support our clients with all aspects of indirect taxation related to global, regional and domestic projects as well as comprehensive restructuring and reporting value added tax projects.

PwC is expanding its presence in the Indirect Tax marketplace and is looking for a manager to help
contribute to this growth.
The PwC Indirect Tax team is a close knit group of professionals that works collaboratively to meet our
clients' needs. We take a team approach to ensure all team members feel engaged and that our clients
receive the best possible service in the most efficient and effective manner.
The Indirect Tax Group provides GST/HST and sales tax planning and management services. As
manager, you will participate in providing indirect tax advisory services to clients. You will be directly
responsible for engagements and specific clients.Responsibilities:Plan and work on indirect tax engagements with clients in various industries including public sector, retail,financial services, manufacturing, and real estate Perform technical research and consult on domestic and/or cross border transactions, indirect taxcompliance, and mergers and acquisitionsDraft file memos, opinion letters, and various reportsPerform commodity tax analysesHelp prepare presentations and conferencesMeet the demands of clients and other PwC officesHelp develop business and build relationships by becoming a trusted advisor to clientsRequirements: An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in indirect tax Fluency in written and spoken French and EnglishAnalytical and critical mindAbility to explain complex concepts in clear and basic termsExcellent communication skillsCommitment to high-quality customer serviceAbility to become integrated in and work with a teamMeticulousnessExcellent technological skillsWhy you'll love working for PwC
