The TELUS Health Finance team is a high performing and collaborative team that delivers exceptional financial reporting, planning, and analysis to senior leaders and key stakeholders. As a trusted advisor to the Health leadership team, you will have in-depth involvement in many aspects of our key business activities and processes.

The Financial Analyst - TELUS Health will support our Health Technology Operations and Customer Experience portfolio with a focus on month-end activities, monthly forecasts, annual budget cycle and ad hoc analysis/business cases.

We are looking for someone who has a strong sense of initiative and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Here's how

As a member of the Health Finance team, you will:
    •Prime month-end activities and prepare monthly reporting package with clear and concise commentary •Offer insightful analysis to senior stakeholders to drive change and influence decisions during monthly forecasts •Partner with BU primes and key stakeholders to prepare executive level monthly business level presentations •Complete ad-hoc analysis as required to aid key stakeholder to make informed business decisions •Collaborate with BU primes to foster business ownership culture by enhancing information sharing, drive BU primes to be more accountable for their financial results and participate in decision making •Develop KPI's to help drive cost management opportunities and reduce risk •Identify and implement process improvements

    •Known for your collaborative spirit and ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment and build good working relationships to influence others at all levels of the organization •Respected for your result-driven mindset and ability to take initiative and ownership of issues and tasks through to resolution •Appreciated for your comfort and ease dealing with ambiguity and complex issues •Strong leadership, problem solving, negotiation, and analytical skills •Regarded for your exceptional communication skills and comfort presenting to an executive audience

Must-haves
    •University degree •Minimum of 3 years of relevant analytical experience in a finance/accounting position •Proficiency with MS Office Suite, with in-depth knowledge of Excel •Expert knowledge of SAP and Hyperion •Strong time management, problem solving and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment •Ability to interpret complex data in a way that is relevant to the audience

Great-to-haves
    •Enrolled or recent graduate from CPA program •Bilingual (English & French)
