Fido Marketing Manager, Value Proposition  
The Fido Marketing Manager, Value Proposition role will focus on building and evolving the Fido value proposition to drive differentiation in the market.  This person will be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity to drive the adoption rate of the product and services in our value proposition.  The successful candidate will work closely with the market insight team to better understand Fido's customer segment, and also with brand, channels and quarterly planning team to develop the marketing calendar and positioning of the value proposition. 
This is the ideal job for a candidate who can think long-term, is detail oriented and can derive meaningful insights from big data sets.  Reporting to the Fido Marketing Senior Manager, Long-Term Strategy and Roadmap, this person will be an instrumental part of the team that is accountable for building and executing on the three-year Fido marketing plan. 
Mandate and responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to drive adoption and awareness of key products & services  
  • Research global best practices and propose ways to differentiate in the market long-term
  • Develop our tri-brand strategy with chatr and Rogers counterparts
  • Track, monitor and develop a plan to grow Value for Money perception
  • Understand and shape the brand's strategy and develop plans to materialize this strategy
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • A team player, able to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strategic thinker, analyzes industry trends to identify threats & opportunities
  • Takes initiative and proactively takes on new challenges and tasks
  • Strong analytical skills and proven experience working with Excel models, data visualization and reporting tools; ability to derive valuable insights from this data to drive business recommendations
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral for presentation purpose
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and building executive level decks
  • University degree -preferably focused in Business/Commerce, Marketing or Engineering
  • 5-7 years marketing experience; Telecommunications experience is an asset
