The digital team is currently seeking a talented UI Designer to join us in Montreal. This individual will be working closely with our UX designers to transform wires into designs that our users find easy to use and pleasurable. They will also work closely with product managers for buyflows with tight and evolving timelines and KPIs.

What you will be doing:
  • Develop concepts and design of user interfaces for desktop, mobile and tablet
  • Transform the wires into a design that our users will find easy to use and pleasurable, especially in e-commerce flows
  • Iterating, testing and pushing our UI boundaries and design system as much as possible and within quick timelines
  • Provide support to business as usual (BAU) initiatives such as promotions, device launches, updates to existing experiences when needed
  • Work closely with the user experience team to create prototypes for usability testing
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of projects, creation/refinement of presentation materials
  • Accountable for all elements of asset delivery to development teams
  • Maintain and create design style guides for mobile and desktop experiences
  • Communicate the functionality and components of interactive elements with cross functional teams including the development team and stakeholders
  • Navigating conversations with brand and agency around need of accessibility and UI needs

Skills and Experience
  • College Design diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 2 years intermediate position with at least a team of 2 or more in UX/UI
  • Expertise in sketch, photoshop, zeplin and abstract
  • Experience in Invision and Invision Studio
  • Experience in speaking with devs, especially in design system maintenance
  • Mobile and desktop UI design experience
  • E-commerce expertise
  • Proven ability to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders, especially in tight timelines and evolving KPIs
  • Experience in an agile workflow
  • Strong communication skills in English(a huge chunk of our team is in Toronto), French is a nice to have
  • Experience working with accessibility requirements
  • Proven experience working in an existing design system, as well as ability to create new atoms
  • Able to create UI/designs off of print visuals sometimes
