The TELUS Business Sales Support team for Quebec and Atlantic Canada is an exceptional work environment that will give you the opportunity to achieve your personal growth objectives and to work with the marketing team on stimulating projects with a direct impact on sales. More specifically, our team optimizes the marketing of wireline and mobile services for small and medium-sized businesses.

In collaboration with cross-functional teams (Products, Marketing Communications, Digital Strategy, Sales, Marketing, etc.), the Marketing Events Manager will support our strategy and help to organize internal and external events, set up contests to foster a culture of competition, measure the effectiveness of various initiatives, and develop presentations to raise interest among current and potential customers and generate opportunities.

Here's how you'll shine as a member of our team

As Marketing Events Manager, you will oversee programs that involve the Sales and Marketing teams. You will play a key role in implementing and optimizing many internal initiatives to enable the organization to serve its customers more effectively, and to increase awareness, differentiation and demand.

    •Support the Marketing team in developing, coordinating, executing and evaluating marketing campaigns and programs by performing rigorous monitoring throughout the duration of each project •Make optimization recommendations to adapt certain initiatives to the relevant market •Create presentations to communicate on a project's progress or results •Develop strong expertise in data analysis in order to guide and adapt the tactics used •Act as project prime in the development, coordination and execution of marketing and sales support projects •Write internal communications addressed to the Sales team •Supervise and evaluate activities (trade shows, events, webinars, etc.) to raise our profile and help generate opportunities •Provide continuous progress reports on current projects and their effectiveness •Work in close collaboration with other team members to optimize the orchestration of our activities •Keep abreast of new marketing and telecommunications trends •Develop and maintain a customer-focused approach at all times, and forge strong, professional ties with internal and external customers by providing quality service, assistance, information and advice to ensure overall satisfaction

You are a fast-paced, effective, positive person with a passion for marketing and sales support. Using your marketing knowledge and business sense, you are able to influence, optimize and see projects through to completion.

You probably hold a similar marketing or communications position, and have many of the following traits and professional experiences:
    •Bilingual •Proven writing ability in both English and French •Ability to create complex PowerPoint presentations •Interest and ability in event management •Versatile skills for presenting and communicating with senior management and frontline teams •Ability to work with complex teams and to collaborate by exercising influence, and proven ability to obtain the cooperation of cross-functional collaborators •Proven ability to continuously produce results and effectively achieve program milestones •Business sense and ability to implement strategies in the fast-changing telecommunications sector •Knowledge of digital marketing •Solid analytical and critical-thinking skills, and superior ability to solve problems creatively •Bachelor or post-secondary diploma in Business, IT or Engineering, or equivalent training or experience

    •Undergraduate or master's degree in Marketing or Communications
