Department Overview

TDWISI is a major business unit within the Bank offering Life, Health, Critical Illness, & Investment products supplied from 9 major insurance companies. The EPA Associate provides administrative and marketing support to all Advisors in Regional EPA territory and related Sales Channels.

These channels currently are:

• PWM Wealth Advisory Services

• PWM Private Investment Advice

• PWM Private Investment Council

• PWM Wealth Insurance Services

Job Description

To provide the highest quality service to all TDWISI Sales Channels and ensure all new insurance applications are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

 Give comprehensive administrative and marketing support to top producing ($900,000+) EPA's day to day operations

 Deliver ongoing insurance sales support to all advisors within region (IA / PIC / WC etc)

 Provide marketing support to EPA and assist in increasing market share & profitability

 Process new business for EPAs and I/A's which are facilitated by the EPA

 Maintain application quality assurance

 Order medical and non-medical requirements

 Enter information into WealthServ

 Follow-up and monitor inforce and pending cases

 Verify, witness and settle new insurance policies

 Provide policy change (Replacement) servicin

Requirements

Experience and Academic Requirements

 Level 2 Life License or LLQP

 ACS, AALU, CFP, CHS or willingness to work towards any of these designations

 Minimum 3 years service experience in the Life Insurance industry in an administrative or Sales supporting role

 Comprehensive knowledge of life, health and investment products

 Up to date knowledge of the underwriting process and new business processing, compliance regulations and guidelines

 Strong understanding of in force service work

 Experience working in a banking environment is an asset

 Keen understanding of insurance products is an asset

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Outstanding customer service skills

 Excellent interpersonal skills with clients, sales representatives, peers and management

 Outstanding administrative abilities and understanding of efficient work methods and record keeping processes

 Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment and to handle a variety of responsibilities

 Strong proficiency with PC technology and familiarity with CRM or database platforms

 A strong team player

 Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and communicate reasonable time lines to stakeholders

 Strong ability to work effectively, in an independent and organized way
