The Program Management Office (PMO) of TELUS Business Solutions (TBS) team is passionate about providing best-in-class project management and support to TBS largest customers. Our Client Project Manager II role will work in collaboration with multiple cross functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Care & Customer Solutions Delivery and various other Enablement teams in achieving our goal of creating long term sustainable growth for our business customers.

As a key member of the Project Management Office, the Client Project Manager II is the primary intermediary between TELUS and our strategic clients within the Specialized Solutions and Support Delivery team. The person will have the following responsibilities:
    •Manage all aspects of the project throughout its life cycle (launch, planning, execution, control, and conclusion) •Define the scope and objectives of the project, and obtain the appropriate resources •Prepare timelines to ensure project completion on schedule •Manage the financial aspects of the project •Ensure project integrity: deal with competing priorities, problems, risks, dependencies and changes •Ensure that the deliverables comply with quality standards •Effectively communicate the status of the project, in particular to cross-functional teams, senior management and customers •Manage relations with the client, as well as the expectations of the latter, during the implementation and delivery of the solution intended


    •University degree or a combination of education and work experience •Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management including project management from $1M to $5M •Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written •Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
Skills and Abilities sought:
    •Broad understanding of project management methods, principles and practices •Good ability to manage and mobilize a working group (leadership) •Experience creating presentations and detailed project timelines •Financial management skills: able to capture and track project financial data and report accordingly •Convincing communicator: able to express themselves in a clear, concise and convincing manner, regardless of the method used and the audience •Decisive spirit: able to analyze data in order to make decisions and solve problems in accordance with the strategic vision of the company •Comfortable in evolving in constantly changing dynamic environments •Recognized knowledge of TELUS mobile and wireline products and services and associated order processing
    •PMP certification •Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Black Belt and certifications or equivalent certifications •Security clearance: hold a provincial or federal security clearance or meet the requirements to obtain them
