Horizon Recruitment Inc is conducting a search for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead a geographically dispersed team and drive the overall long-term strategy for the business. Working collaboratively with the Managing Director, the CFO should be able to see beyond just the numbers to identify factors that enhance performance and drive change.

Responsibilities:

  • Being a core part of the leadership team in driving and delivering the change agenda
  • Helping with balancing the Division and Group priorities
  • Taking strategic plans and translating them into actionable initiatives through a financial model or operational improvement plan
  • Evaluates potential alliances, acquisitions and/or mergers, and strategic investments or reorganization(s)
  • Synthesizing financial data from a variety of entry points in order to deliver clear business plans and operating advice
  • Leading and evolving a finance function within a complex, global, multi-business information services business
  • Developing sophisticated financial models and create clear, visual representations that effectively communicate quantitative as well as qualitative information to influence decisions
  • Developing metrics, which inform decision-making and assist with change and growth at numerous levels such as product profitability, pricing, and individual compensation analysis
  • Provides timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends
  • Implement policies and procedures that improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the control environment
  • Manages the implementation of complex financial reporting and fulfillment systems
  • Leads domestic tax reporting, cash forecasting and management, cross border and intra-company transactions

Requirements:

  • A professional designation and qualifications (CPA, CA, CMA or CGA) along with 15+ years of progressive leadership experience
  • Hands-on, roll up the sleeves professional with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Capability, drive, and initiative to learn, adapt and execute
  • Excellent influencing capability in driving key decisions through to successful conclusions
  • A senior Executive with a performance mindset who thrives in complex environments
  • An open and articulate communicator with strong analysis, presentation and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent analytical skills, and applies a creative approach to problem-solving
