The Partner Solutions team relies on best practices, collaboration and thought leadership to provide strategic planning and operational excellence. We're looking for an exceptional person to take on the role of Business Analyst II. This person must be independent, dynamic and flexible and have strong analytical skills.

Within the Partner Solutions team, you will lead the execution of strategic projects to support digital transformation for operational teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to acquire a wide range of experience with the services offered by the Partners team, including with the Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Technology teams.

As a Business Analyst II on the Partner Solutions team, you'll play an essential role in the planning, execution and complete delivery of strategic, transformative and essential projects to our various teams. In particular, you will be responsible for all aspects of project management and implementation, business impact analysis, the business requirement document, process improvement and system changes, creating assessments of project business cases, and preparing and supporting members of the customer-facing team.

Here's how

    •Take part in establishing positive relationships with our partners to prioritize and efficiently execute digital transformation initiatives, while working with stakeholders to define opportunities and solutions to optimize processes and provide positive customer experiences •Act as the primary point of contact with users in the Partner sector to gather requirements and perform analyses, while also developing your knowledge to maintain advanced end-to-end understanding of TELUS's applications and processes •Be responsible for integrating changes into operations, defining requirements, developing business cases, assessing and resolving risks, and establishing procedures •Lead meetings and workshops with multidisciplinary stakeholders to achieve the desired results •Provide a link to the stakeholders and executive sponsors for each project, and draw on exceptional skills for the executive committee to eliminate obstacles and resolve conflicts. •Ensure communication between teams and stakeholders to identify, validate and assess the operational needs for each project in order to develop effective solutions or implementation plans with a focus on collaboration •Create and document user testimonials and acceptance criteria in Jira, and manage demonstrations and presentations of new features for stakeholders •Continually review the activities associated with processes and identify defects or opportunities to improve efficiency and mitigate risks •Implement and complete key initiatives designed to improve efficiency and processes, limit unnecessary contacts with customers, and enable agents to increase their productivity and the quality of their interactions with customers


Qualifications:


The ideal candidate
    •A dynamic and autonomous person, comfortable in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous environment, with the desire to create an exceptional experience for customers and team members •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to propose more than one solution to a problem •Ability to complete projects relating to business activities, technology and staff by overcoming challenges •Solid abilities in business analysis, including both quantitative and qualitative analyses •Exceptional people skills and ability to adapt, enabling you to lead, motivate and influence team members while cultivating good working relationships at different hierarchical levels •Excellent oral and written communication skills; create presentations and speak clearly and effectively to managers at all hierarchical levels within the company •Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to set priorities, to negotiate, and to initiate, plan and organize activities; ability to achieve the desired results and to work with a minimum of supervision •Ability to react quickly and make the most of changing circumstances •Desire to implement transformation initiatives to reduce operational complexity

Experience and training
    •Two years' experience or more in business analysis •University diploma or equivalent combination of experience and training •Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) •Experience in developing and deploying business improvement solutions •Experience working in an agile environment
