Department Overview

The equipment management department is responsible for setting residual amd fmv values for operationing leases for the business. The team is responsible or the sale and seizure of all repossessed and off lease assets, residual portfolio management and the collection of past due renewals and buyout invoices.

Job Description
Manage all repossessed and end of lease assets for the business including bailiff, remarketer, and inspection engagements
- Work with the Collections Team to ensure distressed assets are seized and secured and advise of any possible write-downs on accounts
- Coordinate the return of off lease assets and review inspection reports for any excess overage, missing and damages, and invoicing accordingly
- Work with approved remarketers, auction companies and dealers to ensure timely sales of assets
- Proactive advertising of inventoried assets to existing bidders and internal team members to solicit offers on equipment
- Responsible for requesting equipment valuations on all assets
- Weekly review of Inventory report to ensure assets do not age greater than 90 days Contact customers to advise them of their end of term options (90) days prior to lease maturity
- Manage all upcoming residual maturity contracts for the business including execution of buyouts, & collection of past due renewals
- Weekly review of worklist to ensure all accounts are actioned within prescribed timelines
- Work with the Operation Team to ensure timely posting of buyout funds, execution of discharges, bills of sale and release letters

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum 5 years experience in the Equipment Leasing industry including three years Equipment Management or Collections experience preferred
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organisation. Ability to speak and write in both French and English is required.
