TELUS Health is currently seeking an Account Manager whose primary task is to acquire new physician clients for the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Here's how
•Help TELUS Health reach its growth targets for the EMR by achieving the sales objectives for the assigned region
•Comprehensively carry out prospecting activities and make outbound cold calls while building relationships with physicians and their clinical support staff in order to identify new sales opportunities
•Develop unrivalled expertise in the features and capabilities of the EMR
•Set yourself apart from your colleagues and competitors as an industry expert in EMR
•Regularly promote our EMR solution and carry out demonstrations for our target markets of either single physicians or groups of 20 or more
•Effectively use the Salesforce.com (SFDC) customer relationship management (CRM) tools to manage the region, sales opportunities and reporting requirements
•Attend trade shows, promotional events, meetings and demonstrations, often outside of regular working hours, along with physicians who are potential customers
•Develop, utilize and maintain close relationships with the EMR reference accounts in order to set up opportunities for meeting new physician clientsQualifications:You're the missing piece of the puzzle
•In-depth knowledge of clinical processes involved in primary and secondary care as well as workflow requirements for general practitioners and medical specialists
•Knowledge of SFDC
•Excellent leadership, and strong coaching and training skills
•Impeccable communication and presentation skills
•Exceptional prospecting skills and ability to manage time and the sales territory
•Familiarity with all current office software and technology tools
•Minimum 3 years of experience in sales to physicians and managing a territory in the fields of EMR, medical devices or pharmaceuticals Great-to-have
