The Account Manager, Service & Sales is responsible for servicing our clients and sales of TELUS Financial Solutions that include Payment and Lending services. Also, developing new business within Quebec's Financial Services sector to complement TELUS Business Solutions to increase revenues and manage our billed revenue. You would be part of a growing FinTech Business Unit within TELUS to enhance your knowledge and relationships.
•Serve as Account Manager for Québec based lenders, stakeholders and clients, and other Quebec-based third parties
•Sell Financial Services Solutions to Quebec-based Stakeholders
•Negotiate new contracts with new Quebec-based Stakeholders
•Provide pre-implementation, implementation, post-implementation support for new solution rollouts
•Negotiate service renewals with existing Quebec-based Partners and existing Lenders
•Coordinate activities and requests for service from existing Quebec-based Partners and existing Lenders that require changes to existing contracts
•Prepare reports on sales activities, market developments and new opportunities as required by senior management
•Manage on-going relationships with Québec based lenders, stakeholders, clients, and other Quebec-based third parties
•Generate sales among client accounts, including upsetting and cross-selling
•Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
•Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
•Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
•Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
•Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting Business Unit goals
•Coordinate with team members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
•Service multiple clients concurrently to meet deadlines and deliverables
•Keep records of client meeting and calls Qualifications:Requirements
•MBA or Honors BA in business or marketing, or equivalent relative experience
•10 plus years of experience in Financial Services and Technology
•Executive level relationship building and management skills
•A strong record of achievement in successfully meeting business development objectives
•Demonstrated success in executing an active market/calling plan with minimal direction
•Excellent presentation and writing skills
•High comfort level in group and one-on-one presentation environments
•Advanced user level proficiency with Internet/PC/Network software applications and the interfacing of data among various information systems
•Ability to travel in support of calling plan
•General familiarity with web-based and electronically accessed financial services including Consumer and Commercial banking platforms, Wealth and Cash Management concepts, as well as Payment Products
•Candidate will have to manage their funnel, records, tracking and report on all metrics
•Partner with Account primes to use embedded territory, account and call planning tools in Salesforce.com to create targeted plans with clearly defined smart goals and specific milestones
•Ensures appropriate balance of prospecting, qualification and closing activity including adherence to Salesforce.com sales methodology for team reviews, win probability models and activity tracking
•Demonstrate a strong track record to close new businesses with large banks and other financial services companies
