As an Account Manager at TELUS Health, you'll be in charge of client relationships and account strategies. In this position, you will be promoting health care solutions to clients, including the OACIS computerized clinical file, you will report clients' perspectives to TELUS Health, and you will identify new opportunities and develop partnerships. You'll be the strategist for a team in which inside and outside sales specialists all depend on one another. You will also call on C-level executives when needed. You will exploit the potential and talent of experts within the company and at our partner companies. Maximize clients' revenue potential with differentiation strategies to distinguish them from the competition, thereby encouraging the development and growth of TELUS's activities in the fields of health care and life sciences. Primary responsibilities
•Establish, develop and maintain relationships with high-level executives for targeted accounts in order to identify and quantify the company's challenges and determine new deal opportunities accordingly
•Support sales and marketing by identifying solution and market access gaps that can help differentiate TELUS even more
•Involve TELUS Health and the finance, legal services, solutions, products, services, sales and marketing departments in the process of defining new sets of solutions
•Develop business plans and business cases for targeted market segments or high-value client groups
•Demonstrate a high level of market knowledge in implementing and supporting solutions
•Create and associate business development plans with solutions, sales/distribution channels and sales/account plans to help the sales/distribution channel establish a link between operational problem statements and TELUS solutions
•Promote a strategic sales plan within the responsible sales organization in support of business development
•Provide accurate business guidance, including sales forecasts and management of sales funnels
•Develop reference accounts for strategic solutions
•Make a sales team's expertise available "on demand" for high-priority business issues and opportunities with strategic clients Qualifications:Required skills and experience
•At least 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in the field of public health in Quebec, accompanied by field expertise (must know the influencers and decision-makers across the health care sector, not just at the government ministry level)
•Ability to identify new business opportunities
•Aptitude for establishing and maintaining solid cooperation with internal stakeholders (Development team, Sales Support team, Professional Services team, etc.) in order to monitor the competitive positioning of our solutions and improve conditions for the achievement of our intended results
•Understanding of business strategies in a Product and Professional Services context
•Aptitude for driving the development of business opportunities at all levels (small opportunities <$2M, medium opportunities $2M-$5M, large and complex opportunities $5M and up)
•Ability to produce and present sales plans, including marketing strategies
•Flair for laymanizing concepts and presenting them to executive teams
•Excellent knowledge of the RFI and RFP process in Quebec (CEAO)
•Familiarity with the technological tools used in the health care sector (DCI, EMR, etc.) and understanding of how the systems interoperate
•Knowledge of sales tools like Salesforce
•Ability to travel within the province of Quebec in connection with account plans
•Effective communication skills in both official languages, both orally and in writing Education
•University degree or equivalent experience at a senior level
•Professional sales certifications a strong asset
